The Daily Nole – Sept. 26, 2018: Landon Dickerson Back Practicing

It’s Wednesday, Florida State fans. As your day and week carry on, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Starting offensive tackle Landon Dickerson returned to practice on Tuesday after missing the past three weeks due to an ankle injury sustained against Virginia Tech.

Initial reports said that Dickerson would be out for a month and would not come back until October. Then head coach Willie Taggart mentioned on Monday that Dickerson was ahead of his recovery schedule and could be back sooner than anticipated. Tuesday’s morning viewing session revealed that he was telling the truth, as Dickerson strolled out in full pads and practiced.

It’s still not confirmed whether or not he will play against Louisville. The team could be precautionary and hold him out for one more game while he gets used to full contact again. Either way, Dickerson should provide a boost to the offensive line when he returns to his left tackle spot.
