Fans will have to wait until late Saturday or Sunday to find out what time and network Florida State and Miami will be playing on Oct. 6. The ACC announced a 6-day hold on the contest, according to a release.

Last season’s contest was played at 3:30 p.m. EST after five straight night games in the series. The last day game played in South Florida was also a 3:30 p.m. EST contest in 2008.

Miami will look to beat Florida State in consecutive years for the first time since winning six straight from 2000-04. The Hurricanes snapped a 7-game losing streak to the Seminoles last season in Tallahassee, 24-20, in thrilling fashion as Malik Rosier hit Darrell Langham for the winning score with seconds remaining. Miami hasn’t won a home game over FSU since 2004.

This week, FSU will try to get over .500 for the first time this season as it visits Louisville. Miami will look to run its winning streak to four games as it plays host to North Carolina on Thursday night.
