The ACC’s annual media days, known as “ACC Kickoff” gets underway on Thursday.

Representing Florida State this year will redshirt sophomores quarterback Deondre Francois and safety Derwin James. FSU’s session is scheduled for 1:51 p.m. EST where the two players and head coach Jimbo Fisher will field questions.

Atlantic division teams will get the spotlight on Thursday for the 2-day event before the attention shifts to the Coastal on Friday. The preseason All-ACC team will be unveiled on July 19.

News and Notes

Official measurements for FSU newcomers were to be found in the new media guide.

Florida State’s Derwin James, Tarvarus McFadden, Josh Sweat and Derrick Nnadi were all named to the preseason Nagurski Trophy watch list.

FSU defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi and center Alec Eberle were each named to the Outland Trophy preseason watch list on Thursday.

FSU and Florida will meet on the hardwood on Dec. 4.

FSU’s Marcus Lewis will transfer, head coach Jimbo Fisher said on Thursday.
