After a thrilling 65-63 overtime win over Virginia Tech on Thursday, fourth-seeded Florida State will take on top-seeded Virginia in the ACC Tournament semifinals on Friday night.
The Cavaliers overcame a small halftime deficit to down eighth-seeded NC State on Thursday, 76-56. Kyle Guy led Virginia with 29 points in the victory on 10-for-13 shooting and 7 of 9 from deep. Jack Salt added 18 points and De’Andre Hunter chipped in with 16.
Virginia topped FSU 65-52 in Charlottesville in the ACC opener for both teams. The Seminoles trailed by as many as 29 points in the January loss. Friday’s contest in Charlotte begins at 7 p.m. EST and airs on ESPN.

On the Agenda
In addition to the ACC Tournament, FSU softball will host Notre Dame at 2 p.m. EST on Friday. FSU women’s tennis will be at Georgia Tech while the men host Boston College. FSU baseball visits NC State at 6:30 p.m. EST. Both baseball and softball air on ACC Network Extra.

North Carolina and Duke will play in the other ACC Tournament semifinal.
FSU softball redshirt senior Meghan King was selected as one of the top 30 candidates for the 2019 Senior CLASS Award.
FSU hoops will open the 2019-20 season at Pittsburgh.
FSU baseball was stomped by NC State on Friday night, 16-0.
