It’s Tuesday, Florida State fans. As some of you return from a long weekend, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Florida State baseball will play its first road game of 2019 and the hurler for the Seminoles will be making his first career start.

After appearing in 22 games as a reliever last season, sophomore right-hander Conor Grady will take the mound for FSU at Jacksonville on Tuesday night. Grady was part of the Opening Day no-hitter for FSU in an 11-0 win over Maine on Friday.

Grady worked three hitless innings while striking out four and walking just one. Tuesday night’s contest begins at 6 p.m. EST and airs on Facebook.com/JUBaseball.

Between the Lines

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Monday.

On the Agenda

In addition to FSU baseball, FSU basketball will visit Clemson on Tuesday night. The contest begins at 9 p.m. EST and airs on ESPNU. FSU women’s tennis will be at Florida.

Florida State beach volleyball head coach Brooke Niles announced the addition of walk-on Marissa Harrison to the 2019-20 recruiting class.

FSU women’s hoops is down one spot to No. 22 in the AP Poll.

FSU football’s Amir Rasul and Naseir Upshur won’t return in 2019.

FSU’s baseball contest with Jacksonville has been pushed back to Wednesday.

FSU hoops topped Clemson on Tuesday night, 77-64, for a school-record eighth ACC win.
