FSU Makes Small Rise in Polls

After back-to-back 22-point victories and seven straight wins against ACC opponents, Florida State’s reward was minimal in the latest polls released on Monday.

FSU moved up just one spot from No. 17 to No. 16 in the AP Poll. In the USA Today Coaches Poll, FSU climbed two spots from 19th to 17th.

This past week, Florida State demolished Wake Forest at home, 88-66, before downing Georgia Tech on the road, 69-47. For the season, FSU is 20-5 and 8-4 in the ACC.

This week, the Seminoles will visit Clemson on Tuesday and North Carolina on Saturday. The Tar Heels are ranked eighth in the AP Poll and ninth in the Coaches.
