Happy hump day, Florida State fans. As you get ready for Thanksgiving, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

The 2018 season for Florida State cornerback Levonta Taylor hasn’t gone as expected, but the junior from Virginia appears to have plans of making his mark next season.

According to The Athletic’s Dane Brugler, Taylor is likely to return for 2019. In a tweet, Brugler said that Taylor has been dealing with a stress fracture in his back, which has limited him this season.

After a stellar sophomore season, Taylor has taken a step back this season and has missed the last three games. Taylor has 19 tackles, one for loss and an interception. That interception was returned 63 yards for a touchdown to seal a 36-26 win over Samford back in September.

Between the Lines

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Tuesday.

On the Agenda

FSU volleyball will be at North Carolina on Wednesday. The contest begins at 2 p.m. EST and airs on ACC Network Extra.
