Lead Story

For the first time in nearly a year, Florida State football will be rocking the all-garnet look on Saturday as it welcomes in rival Florida.

The announcement was made on Monday via the football’s Twitter account. FSU will wear the gold helmet for the contest.

The last time that the Seminoles donned all garnet was last season against Southern Mississippi in the Independence Bowl. FSU last wore all garnet against Florida in a 45-24 win at home in 1992. All garnet hasn’t been worn during a regular season game since the ACC finale against Maryland in 2007.

Between the Lines

FSU basketball defeated Canisius in an Advocare Invitational campus game on Monday night, 93-61.

On the Agenda

There are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Tuesday.
