Lead Story

Despite a 2-game winning streak and a thrilling victory over Louisville on Saturday, oddsmakers aren’t giving Florida State much of a chance as it heads south.

The Seminoles are currently listed as a 12-point underdog to Miami. The teams will square off on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. EST at Hard Rock Stadium.

FSU had won the last seven meetings prior to Miami pulling out a thrilling 24-20 victory in Tallahassee last season. The Hurricanes haven’t won by more than one score in the series since beating FSU by a 49-27 score in 2001.

Between the Lines

FSU men’s and women’s tennis wrapped up the qualifying portion of the All-American Championships on Sunday. FSU women’s golf finished ninth at the Schooner Fall Classic in Oklahoma. FSU volleyball fell at Pittsburgh in four sets.
