A comeback for the ages for Florida State on Saturday culminated in one individual honor from the ACC. The Seminoles did the unthinkable at Louisville, scoring on a 58-yard touchdown pass from Deondre Francois to Nyqwan Murray with just over a minute remaining to win, 28-24.

FSU redshirt freshman DeCalon Brooks was named ACC Co-Linebacker of the Week for his performance against Louisville. The son of FSU legend and Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker Derrick Brooks, the youngster recorded nine tackles, two for loss, a sack and a forced fumble in the victory.

Prior to this week, no FSU player had earned ACC weekly honors this season.

Florida State will look to earn some more individual accolades, but most importantly, a team one this week as it travels to face Miami. The Seminoles haven’t lost to the Hurricanes on the road since 2004.
