Lead Story

A date and time had already been set for next Saturday’s contest between Florida State and Louisville. Now, we have a network.

The contest between the Seminoles and Cardinals will air at 3:30 p.m. EST on ESPN2 next Saturday. Louisville looks to join Clemson as the only ACC programs ever to beat FSU in three straight seasons.

Both teams will enter the contest with records of 2-2. Florida State defeated Northern Illinois, 37-19, on Saturday while Louisville was defeated at Virginia, 27-3.

Between the Lines

FSU football beat Northern Illinois on Saturday, 37-19. FSU women’s tennis resumed both the Oracle ITA Masters and the Debbie Southern Fall Classic. FSU cross country participated in the Mountain Dew Invitational.

On the Agenda

FSU women’s tennis wraps up both the Oracle ITA Masters and the Debbie Southern Fall Classic on Sunday. FSU volleyball will host Wake Forest while FSU soccer visits Boston College. Both of those matches begin at 1 p.m. EST and air on ACC Network Extra.

News and Notes

FSU’s win over Northern Illinois on Saturday was the first under head coach Willie Taggart against FBS competition.

FSU women’s cross country finished third at the Mountain Dew Invitational on Saturday.

The AP and Amway Coaches Polls will be released on Sunday.
