The Daily Nole — Aug. 13, 2018: Former FSU Golfer Brooks Koepka Wins PGA Championship

For the third time in 14 months, former Florida State golfer Brooks Koepka has won a PGA major.

Koepka claimed the PGA Championship title on Sunday in St. Louis by finishing -16 for the tournament and -4 on Sunday. Koepka finished two strokes better than second-place Tiger Woods.

Koepka instead will join Woods as one of just five players ever to win the U.S. Open and PGA Championship in the same year. Koepka also won the U.S. Open last year for his first major title.
