When it comes to the secondary, Florida State’s group is expected to be one of the best in the country.

In a piece by Athlon Sports from Friday, the Seminoles have the eighth-best defensive backs unit. That unit is headlined by cornerback Levonta Taylor, but fellow corners Kyle Meyers, Carlos Becker, hybrid Stanford Samuels III and safeties Cyrus Fagan and Hamsah Nasirildeen are all very talented.

Topping the list of top defensive backs was Washington. The Seminoles ranked highly despite losing starters Derwin James and Tarvarus McFadden.
