Lead Story

After a first Elite Eight run in 25 years, many are high of Florida State hoops for 2018-19 and a sophomore swingman.

According to a July 5 piece from ESPN that ranks the most exciting player for each team in the publication’s “Way-Too-Early Top 25”, M.J. Walker was given the nod for the Seminoles. A former McDonald’s All-American, Walker averaged just seven points and 1.7 rebounds last season while shooting 38 percent from the field.

With Braian Angola and C.J. Walker gone, M.J. Walker is expected to have a bigger role for the Seminoles next season. FSU was ranked No. 18 in ESPN’s Way-Too-Early Top 25.
