Despite another perfect week, which included blowout wins over Sacred Heart and Samford, Florida State’s women’s basketball team saw no movement in the polls.

The Seminoles remain 11th in the USA Today Coaches Poll and 13th in the AP Poll. FSU is among three ACC teams in the top 15, along with Louisville and Notre Dame.

FSU is a perfect 6-0 this season. It will be in Iowa City on Wednesday night to take on Iowa in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Between the Lines

FSU’s men’s hoops team defeated Rutgers in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Tuesday night, 78-73.

On the Agenda

FSU women’s hoops will be at Iowa for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge in a contest that tips at 8 p.m. EST and airs on Big Ten Network.

    I think both the men’s and women’s team are a bit underrated because of the talent lost, without regard to the talent they have now. Both teams seem to be better balanced. It’s early yet, but I have high expectations for the women, and think the men will exceed media expectations.
