It’s Sunday, Florida State fans. As you try to enjoy the rest of your weekend, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Florida State hopes that the 2017 season doesn’t end up with a losing record and without a bowl game, but it hit another low in Saturday’s 31-28 loss to Louisville.

With the defeat, the Seminoles are off to an 0-3 start at home for the first time since 1974 — two years before legendary Bobby Bowden became head coach. FSU lost three home games for the first time since 2009 and three straight for the first time since 1975.

If there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, it’s that FSU is undefeated on the road and will travel to Boston College on Friday night. The Eagles however, are red hot with consecutive wins at Louisville and Virginia.
