It’s Monday, Florida State fans. For those of you heading back to the grind, we’ll try to get you through it. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Florida State may have lost 2019 defensive tackle prospect Lloyd Murray, Jr. late Saturday night, but things remain very promising on the recruiting trail.

Despite the loss of Murray, FSU still maintains the top class for 2019, ahead of rival Florida, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee. The Seminoles also still have a higher rated prospect at the position in Tru Thompson.

Thompson is one of four prospects from Georgia powerhouse Grayson High School that make up the 2019 class for FSU. In total, the Seminoles have six commitments for 2019. For 2018, FSU currently ranks seventh and third in the ACC.

Between the Lines

Florida State baseball dropped a tough one to Wake Forest, 10-9 on Sunday. At the ACC Championships, FSU’s men’s track and field team finished third while the women finished second. Virginia Tech took both team titles.

On the Agenda

FSU men’s golf opens up the NCAA Tournament in Sammamish, Washington.

News and Notes

FSU remains unranked in all baseball polls.

Florida State starting pitcher Tyler Holton became the first FSU pitcher ever to win four ACC Pitcher of the Week honors in one season.
