Lead Story

At 6-5 and nearly 260 pounds, Florida State redshirt junior tight end Mavin Saunders is a large figure on the football field, but it appears the native of the Bahamas is making a big impact off of it as well.

According to a release, Saunders was named the Outstanding Adult Volunteer of the Year at Riley Elementary School. For the last 18 months, Saunders has been no stranger to the school, spending two hours mentoring students twice a week, per the release.
