After serving as a 2-starter for Florida State, guard Dontae Lucas is leaving the program and entering the transfer portal.

Lucas made seven starts in each of his first two seasons and appeared in 21 total games for his FSU career. A former 4-star prospect, Lucas had some good moments, but struggled as well.

Lucas played in both games for FSU this season, but did not start. Dillan Gibbons and Devontay Love-Taylor have gotten the start at guard in each of the first two games.

FSU football’s Sept. 25 home contest vs. Louisville will begin at 3:30 p.m. ET and air on ESPN2.

FSU football has named McKenzie Milton the starting quarterback for Saturday’s trip to Wake Forest.

Former Southern Illinois head coach Justin Fetcho has been named an assistant for FSU men’s golf.

FSU cross country’s Adriaan Wildschutt was named the USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Men’s Athlete of the Week.
