It wasn’t a year to remember for Florida State, but the efforts of one youngster did not go unnoticed.

On Wednesday, offensive lineman Robert Scott was named a True Freshman All-American by 247Sports. A 3-star prospect out of Arkansas, Scott was just outside the top 500 nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, but made a major impact in 2020.

Scott appeared in eight games this past season and started the final six at right tackle. Over his final four games, Scott allowed just one sack.

Between the Lines

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Wednesday.

On the Agenda

FSU women’s hoops visits Virginia Tech on Thursday afternoon. The contest begins at 12 p.m. ET and streams on ACC Network Extra.

FSU hoops is currently projected as a No. 5 seed by ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi.
