Lead Story

Florida State has hopes of fixing its dreadful offensive line, but bringing back a familiar face won’t be an option.

Former tackle Josh Ball took to Twitter on Thursday evening to announce that he would not be returning to FSU. As a redshirt freshman in 2017, Ball appeared in all 13 games for FSU and started nine before a university hearing for alleged domestic violence led to his dismissal prior to the start of 2018.

The Seminoles were among the worst offensive fronts in the country and will lose a pair of starters in Alec Eberle and Derrick Kelly. 4-star guard Dontae Lucas is currently the only committed offensive lineman for 2019.

Between the Lines
