It’s Monday, Florida State fans. As you begin your week anew, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Despite finishing 7-6 a season ago, only last year’s ACC Championship participants were given better odds to win the conference in 2018 than Florida State.

According to Bovada, FSU is currently listed at 9-to-1 to win the ACC. Clemson was given the best odds at 1-to-2 following three straight ACC titles. Miami was next at 11-to-5.

In the first year under head coach Willie Taggart, FSU will look to get back to the ACC title game for the first time since 2014. It is worth noting that former head coach Jimbo Fisher reached Charlotte in his first season as head coach after inheriting a team that finished 7-6, but the Seminoles ultimately fell to Virginia Tech, 44-33.
