Lead Story

Sophomore left-hander Drew Parrish and freshman righty C.J. Van Eyk were named to the Collegiate National Team. It marks the third straight season that two Seminoles will be part of Team USA. Parrish is on the 24-man roster while Van Eyk will compete for a roster spot.

With Tyler Holton lasting just four innings, Parrish assumed the role of ace for FSU this past season, posting a 5-1 record and 2.52 ERA. Parrish led the Seminoles in ERA and strikeouts with 128 in 107 innings.

Van Eyk was a perfect 7-0 this season in 19 appearances, which included five starts. Van Eyk also recorded a pair of saves. Holton and outfielder Jackson Lueck played for Team USA last year.
