Less than three months separate us from the football opener for Florida State against Virginia Tech on Sept. 3. FSU isn’t sure who will start at quarterback for the contest and now it looks like the Hokies aren’t either.

According to a report from the Richmond Times-Dispatch, there are eligibility questions regarding quarterback Josh Jackson. The issues are regarding academics.

Jackson for now, is still a member of the team, per reports. As a redshirt freshman last season, Jackson started all 13 games for the Hokies, accounting for more than 3,000 total yards and 23 total touchdowns.

FSU track and field continued the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Thursday.
