Lead Story

Fresh off a hard-fought 4-3 victory over No. 1 Wake Forest, Florida State men’s tennis is up in the UTSA Poll.

The Seminoles have climbed two spots from No. 9 to No. 7 in this week’s poll. In the ITA Poll earlier this week, FSU moved up 11 spots to No. 9 from No. 20.

For the season, FSU is 21-1 and a perfect 5-0 in ACC play. The Seminoles will host Louisville on Friday.

Between the Lines

FSU track and field was at the University of Texas on Wednesday.

On the Agenda

FSU track and field will continue in Texas on Thursday as well as take part in the Pepsi Florida Relays in Gainesville. FSU women’s tennis will be at Duke. FSU baseball takes on Louisville at 6 p.m. EST on ACC Network Extra.

FSU baseball used a strong start to defeat Louisville on Thursday night at Dick Howser Stadium, 9-4.
