It’s Friday, Florida State fans. As you wind down your work week, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics as we update the news and notes section of this post throughout the day.

Lead Story

After being accused of dating violence, Florida State redshirt freshman offensive lineman Josh Ball came to a joint resolution with his accuser.

Sandra Sellers, a former girlfriend of Ball’s, accused him of becoming violence on several instances and filed for an injunction on Sept. 27. According to a report from the Orlando Sentinel’s Safid Deen, Ball agreed to the terms of the injunction without confirming or denying the allegations against him.

As a result, Ball was ordered to stay at least 500 feet from Sellers’ home, her parents’ home, her church, her workplace and Tallahassee Community College, but will be allowed to travel freely on the roads and on campus. Ball is expected to remain in the starting lineup for Saturday’s contest against Clemson.
