The Daily Nole — Nov. 3, 2017: Tate, Gavin Listed as Questionable for Syracuse

It’s Friday, Florida State fans. That means we’re just one day away from FSU taking on Syracuse. In the meantime, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics as we update the news and notes section throughout the day.

Lead Story

Florida State could be without two key receivers on Saturday as it takes on Syracuse.

According to the injury report, leading receiver Auden Tate and fellow wide receiver Keith Gavin are each listed as questionable. Tate has been dealing with an ankle issue while Gavin injured his leg in the 24-20 loss to Miami on Oct. 7.

Freshman defensive end Joshua Kaindoh is also listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Running back Jacques Patrick, safety A.J. Westbrook and defensive tackle Darvin Taylor are all out for Saturday’s contest with the Orange.

Between the Lines

FSU men’s tennis competed in the ITA National Fall Championship on Thursday.

On the Agenda

The men’s tennis team will continue the ITA National Fall Championship on Friday. FSU softball will play another Garnet and Gold scrimmage before taking on Northwest Florida State in a scrimmage.

News and Notes

Ken Pomeroy projects that FSU basketball will finish 18-12 and 8-10 in ACC play.
