Since dropping its ACC opener to North Carolina, Florida State soccer has now won three straight.
The Seminoles picked up a home win over North Carolina State on Friday night, 1-0. Kaycie Tillman scored the only goal for FSU in the 15th minute on an assist from Dallas Dorosy. Goalkeeper Cassie Miller finished with a save as FSU collected a second straight shutout.
With the win, FSU improves to 8-2 and 3-1 in ACC play. Up next for the Seminoles is a home contest with Boston College on Thursday.
Between the Lines
In addition to FSU soccer, FSU volleyball fell to Louisville in straight sets on Friday. FSU women’s cross country finished 11th at the Joe Piane Invitational at Notre Dame while the men finished 16th. FSU women’s tennis competed in the Bedford Cup on Friday.
On the Agenda
Both the FSU men’s and women’s tennis teams will take part in the All American Pre-Qualifying/Qualifying on Saturday. FSU football will visit Wake Forest at 3:30 p.m. EST on Saturday in a contest that airs on ABC.

FSU basketball’s “Jam with Ham” is set for Oct. 13.
FSU safety Derwin James has been added to the Lott IMPACT Trophy watch list.
FSU football defeated Wake Forest on Saturday, 26-19.
