The Daily Nole — Aug. 10, 2017: FSU Volleyball Ranked No. 15

Florida State volleyball will begin the 2017 season ranked No. 15 in the AVCA Poll.

FSU finished last season with a record of 26-6 and reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, where it fell to Stanford in four sets. Key returning players include Cecilie Woie, Milica Kubura and Christina Ambrose.

Topping the poll was Texas, followed by Stanford, Washington, Minnesota and Nebraska. The highest ranked ACC team was North Carolina at No. 11. FSU begins its season on Aug. 25 against Baylor.
