Lead Story

Dennis Briggs, a 3-star defensive tackle from Kissimmee, unveiled his top 10 schools on Friday and Florida State made the cut.

Also making the cut for the 6-4, 255-pound prospect were Florida, Miami, Georgia, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, South Carolina, N.C. State, Oregon and Ole Miss. Briggs is ranked as the No. 431 overall player for 2018, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings and the 31st best defensive tackle.

FSU remains in the mix for Briggs, but at this point, he is considered to be a Miami lean. FSU already has one defensive tackle commitment for 2018 in Georgia prospect Robert Cooper.
