It’s Thursday, Florida State fans. As you settle in and wind down your week, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Three Florida State players who declared early for the NBA Draft will anxiously wait to hear their names Thursday night.

Forward Jonathan Isaac and guards Dwayne Bacon and Xavier Rathan-Mayes are all looking to make the jump to the next level. Isaac, a 6-10 forward, is projected to be a top 10 pick after averaging 12 points and 7.8 rebounds in his only year on campus.

Bacon is projected to be a second round pick after leading FSU in scoring for a second straight season, averaging better than 17 points per contest. Rathan-Mayes isn’t expected to be picked by most experts, but it’s always possible he could sneak in near the end of the draft. A 6-4 point guard, Rathan-Mayes led the team in assists in each of the last three seasons.

Thursday night’s draft will begin at 7 p.m. EST and will air on ESPN.

Between the Lines

Florida State’s baseball season ended on Wednesday night with a 7-4 loss to LSU in a College World Series elimination game.

On the Agenda

FSU track and field athletes will compete in the USATF Junior National Championships in Sacramento on Thursday.

News and Notes
