Another stellar season for Florida State softball has resulted in another stellar finish.

The Seminoles came in 10th in the final NFCA/USA Today Coaches Poll, which was released on Monday. After winning a fourth straight ACC crown, FSU earned a No. 4 national seed. After sweeping through the Tallahassee Regional, the Seminoles fell to No. 13 seed LSU in the decisive third game of the Tallahassee Super Regional.

FSU finished the year by tying a school-record with 55 wins, finishing 55-8-1. National champion Oklahoma topped the final poll.

Florida beat Wake Forest to clinch the final spot in the College World Series.

The 2017 Major League Baseball Draft resumes on Tuesday with rounds 3-10.

FSU shortstop Taylor Walls was selected 79th overall by the Tampa Bay Rays.

Pitcher Tyler Holton will start for FSU in the first game of the College World Series against LSU. Drew Parrish will start the Seminoles’ second game in Omaha.

FSU third baseman Dylan Busby was selected 88th overall by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft.
