It’s Monday, Florida State fans. For those of you returning to work, we feel your pain. The good news is we’ll have the latest in FSU athletics right here. The news and notes section will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Florida State wrapped up a perfect ACC softball slate on Sunday with a 6-2 win over North Carolina. Jessica Warren and Alex Powers combined for five of FSU’s seven hits, three runs and two RBIs in the win.

On Senior Day, Jessica Burroughs earned the win, finishing one out shy of the complete game. One day after breaking the school-record for home runs, Warren homered again in the victory.

The Seminoles are 47-3-1 for the season and a perfect 24-0 in ACC play. FSU wraps up the regular season with a home contest against Florida on Wednesday and then three games at Oregon, beginning on Friday.
