A date and time have been set for Florida State football’s annual spring game.

The Seminoles’ intrasquad contest takes place on April 9 at 5 p.m. The contest will offer fans a chance to see players competing for starting spots perform as well as a handful of early enrollees.

FSU is entering its third season under head coach Mike Norvell, but this will be just his second spring game. The Seminoles finished 5-7 this past season.

Between the Lines

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Friday.

On the Agenda

FSU hoops’ contest with UCF at the Orange Bowl Classic has been canceled due to COVID-19 issues. There are now no athletic contests scheduled for Saturday.

FSU football has named Tony Tokarz as the new quarterbacks coach.

FSU defensive end Marcus Cushnie has entered the transfer portal.

Florida State tight end Camren McDonald will return for the 2022 season.
