Florida State’s recruiting momentum continued on Monday with the addition of a top-200 prospect.

The Seminoles received the pledge of 4-star offensive lineman Jaylen Early. A native of Duncanville, Tex., Early is listed at 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds. He is ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 199 overall player for 2022 and the 11th-best interior lineman.

The addition gives FSU 18 total commitments for 2022, including six offensive linemen. FSU moves up to No. 7 in the team rankings, according to the Composite, and now leapfrogs Clemson for the top class in the ACC.

FSU commitment Travis Hunter, a cornerback from Georgia, is now the No. 1 overall prospect for 2022, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

FSU cross country unveiled its 2021 schedule on Monday. The Seminoles begin the season on Sept. 18 with the Mountain Dew Classic in Gainesville.

Former FSU hoops guard M.J. Walker has signed with the New York Knicks as an undrafted free agent.
