Florida State’s football’s 2021 opener is still nearly two months away, but betting lines are already open.

According to Southpoint Sportsbook, Notre Dame will open as a 9.5-point favorite over the Seminoles when the teams meet on Sept. 5. Notre Dame is coming off a College Football Playoff appearance while FSU finished just 3-6.

The teams will meet at 7:30 p.m. ET at Doak Campbell Stadium on ABC. FSU is 6-4 all-time against the Fighting Irish, but has lost the last two, including 42-26 last season in South Bend.

FSU football has recently fallen to No. 6 in the team recruiting rankings, according to the 247Sports Composite. The Seminoles maintain the top class in the ACC.
