The Daily Nole — Feb. 10, 2021: FSU Hoops Currently Projected a No. 5 Seed by ESPN

The latest version of ESPN’s Bracketology has Florida State basketball listed as a No. 5 seed.

ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has the Seminoles matched up with No. 12 seed Belmont in Region 1. The winner would take on either fourth-seeded Iowa or No. 13 seed UAB. The top seed in the region is Gonzaga, who FSU has faced in each of its last two NCAA Tournament appearances.

For the season, FSU is 10-3 and 6-2 in ACC play. After a long pause, the Seminoles are set to return to action on Saturday when they host Wake Forest.
