Seminole Summary Sunday: FSU Lands Hill on NSD, Finishes with Top-25 Recruiting Class

With the Early Singing Period now in existence, National Signing Day has lost some of its luster, but Florida State still went out on a high note.
The Seminoles added 4-star wide receiver Destyn Hill on Wednesday. Hill is a New Orleans native, the No. 113 overall prospect and now the highest ranked member of FSU’s 2021 class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
As a whole, FSU will finish with the No. 22 overall class for 2021. The Seminoles have the fourth-best class in the ACC.
After a 3-6 season, FSU will try to bolster its roster with 17 new signees, including seven 4-star prospects. Hill, cornerbacks Hunter Washington and Omarion Cooper, wide receiver Malik McClain and defensive end Shambre Jackson were all among the nation’s top 300 prospects, per the Composite.
McClain will headline a group of six early enrollees. FSU’s class will also feature nine transfers, headlined by former UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton. Other notable additions include former South Carolina defensive back Jammie Robinson and defensive lineman Keir Thomas as well as former Georgia linebacker Jermaine Johnson.
