The Daily Nole — Jan. 16, 2021: FSU’s Robinson Accepts Senior Bowl Invitation

Florida State defensive end Janarius Robinson is done with his playing days in Tallahassee, but he will get to wear an FSU helmet one more time.

Robinson has accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl in Mobile. The contest takes place on Jan. 30.

Robinson is the third FSU player to accept an invitation to the Senior Bowl, joining safety Hamsah Nasirildeen and defensive tackle Marvin Wilson. Robinson finishes his FSU career with 104 career tackles, 20.5 for loss, eight sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Between the Lines

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Friday.

On the Agenda

FSU hoops will host North Carolina on Saturday. The contest begins at 12 p.m. ET and airs on ESPN. FSU swimming and diving will take on Gardner-Webb. FSU track and field will travel to South Carolina to open the season.

News and Notes

FSU is listed as a 3.5-point favorite over North Carolina.

Season schedules for FSU men’s and women’s tennis as well as men’s golf were announced this week.
