The Daily Nole — Jan. 4, 2021: FSU Men’s, Women’s Hoops Games Postponed

Florida State’s men’s and women’s basketball programs will have at least each of the next two games postponed to positive COVID-19 tests within the programs.

One day after the FSU men had their contest with Duke postponed, the women’s contest at Wake Forest was called off. The FSU men’s game at Syracuse set for Wednesday and FSU women’s hoops’ home game with Louisville on Sunday have also been postponed.

When the teams are able to return remains to be seen. The next scheduled contest for the FSU men is on Saturday at Pittsburgh. For the FSU women, it’s on Jan. 14 at Miami.

Between the Lines

With the postponement of the FSU women’s hoops contest at Wake Forest, there were no athletic events on Sunday.

On the Agenda

There are no FSU athletic contests scheduled for Monday.

FSU football safety Raymond Woodie III will enter the transfer portal.

The latest men’s basketball AP and Amway Coaches Polls will be released on Monday.
