Lead Story

Florida State’s quarterback room got a little deeper on Sunday.

According to ESPN and confirmed by his social media accounts, UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton will transfer to Florida State. A native of Hawaii, Milton was a 3-year starter for UCF before a gruesome leg injury late in the 2018 season.

Milton led the Knights to a perfect season in 2017 and back-to-back New Year’s Six appearances in his final two years as a starter. Milton comes to FSU with 8,683 career passing yards, 72 touchdown passes and 92 total touchdowns. He’s thrown just 20 interceptions.

FSU currently has three scholarship quarterbacks on the roster. It does not have a current commitment for 2021 at the position.

Between the Lines

Valencia Myers finished with 14 points and nine blocks as FSU women’s hoops beat Virginia on Sunday, 69-51.

On the Agenda

There are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Monday.
