What was supposed to be Florida State’s final home game of the season will kick off in prime time.

Saturday night’s contest with Virginia will begin at 8 p.m. ET and will air on ACC Network, the ACC announced over the weekend. The ACC declared a 6-day hold last Monday, meaning time and network would be set for a later date.

The Cavaliers are coming off a 55-15 win over Abilene Christian and have won three straight. Virginia beat FSU last season in Charlottesville, 31-24. Virginia is 4-4 for the year while FSU is 2-6.

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Sunday.

On the Agenda

There are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Monday.

News and Notes

Florida State hopes to play Clemson on Dec. 12. The teams were supposed to play on Saturday, but the contest was postponed after a Clemson player tested positive for COVID-19.
