Lead Story

Florida State will have to beat at least one current top-20 team to become bowl-eligible down the stretch, but some publications project a bowl for the Seminoles.

According to the latest bowl projections from Athlon Sports, FSU is set to take part in the Gasparilla Bowl in St. Petersburg against Cincinnati. The Seminoles are 6-0 all-time against the Bearcats, but the teams have not met since 1990.

It should be noted that neither ESPN nor CBS Sports currently have FSU playing in a bowl. The Gasparilla Bowl is held on Dec. 20.
