The Daily Nole — Aug. 18, 2018: Broadcast Schedule Announced for FSU Soccer

It’s the weekend, Florida State fans. As the next couple of days fly by, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Florida State’s soccer season got off to a 1-0 start with a 1-0 victory over Vanderbilt on Thursday night, but those who don’t visit the Seminole Soccer Complex will soon be able to watch their team from home.

In total, 13 games will be broadcast this season, beginning with the Aug. 23 contest at Wisconsin. That game will air on Big Ten Network Plus. Florida State’s Oct. 25 visit to Virginia will air on Raycom Sports Network.

With the exception of the next game against Troy, the Sept. 9 contest against South Alabama and the Oct. 7 game with Wake Forest, all other games will air on ACC Network Extra. The Seminoles will face Troy at 6 p.m. EST on Sunday.

Between the Lines

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Friday.

On the Agenda

There are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Saturday.

FSU volleyball defeated South Alabama in straight sets in a scrimmage on Friday night.
