Florida State didn’t experience too much attrition from a team that reached the Elite Eight for the first time in 25 years, but the Seminoles are adding two scholarship transfers to go along with Devin Vassell, the team’s lone commitment for the 2018 cycle.

Each of those three players were presented new jersey numbers the other day. Vassell will wear No. 24.

That number was most recently worn by Robbie Berwick and Antwan Space. Each of those players transferred, so the Seminoles are hoping for better results with Vassell donning the number. Tony Dawson and Terrell Baker were among the more notable FSU players to wear the number.

David Nichols, a senior guard transfer from Albany, will wear No. 11. That number was worn last season by Braian Angola. Otto Petty, Jerel Allen and Kiel Turpin are among some notable players to don the number for Florida State.

Malik Osborne, a Rice transfer, won’t be eligible to play until the 2019-20 season, but will wear No. 10. That jersey number was most recently worn by Okaro White, FSU’s iron man. Sam Cassell and Delvon Arrington also wore No. 10 for the Seminoles.

Both Nichols and Osborne wore No. 13 last season for their respective schools. Guard Anthony Polite, a redshirt freshman, currently wears that number for FSU.
