A pair of Florida State players were honored as members of the All-ACC Academic football team on Wednesday, according to a release.

Those honored for the Seminoles were punter Logan Tyler and tight end Mavin Saunders. A psychology major, Tyler averaged 43.2 yards per punt as a sophomore in 2017 and had 40 of his 75 kickoffs go for touchbacks.

Saunders, a criminology major, was held without a catch for the first time in his FSU career this past season. Saunders, who will be a redshirt senior in 2018, has since announced the decision to transfer to Kansas where he’ll be eligible to play right away.

To make the team, one must maintain a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career, per the release. To view the complete team, click here.
