Lead Story

In addition to the position coaches and coordinators, new Florida State head coach Willie Taggart has made another staff hire, according to reports.

Irele Oderinde will serve as the strength and conditioning coach, replacing Vic Viloria, who had been at Florida State since 2010. Oderine worked for Taggart’s staff at both South Florida and Oregon.

Oderine was one of four hires reported over the last two days. There are still three staff positions that Taggart has to fill.

Between the Lines

FSU swimming and diving was defeated at Florida on Friday. FSU men’s tennis defeated Hawaii, 7-0.

On the Agenda

FSU men’s tennis will take on Hawaii again on the road Saturday.

News and Notes

Former FSU cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey and Xavier Rhodes were named to the AP’s first All-Pro team. Former FSU linebacker Telvin Smith was named to the second team.

FSU wide receiver Auden Tate and cornerback Tarvarus McFadden will each enter the 2018 NFL Draft.
