Merry Christmas, Florida State fans. As you enjoy the day with your family, we’ll try to keep you updated with the latest in FSU athletics here.

Lead Story

An undrafted rookie playing just his second game in the NFL, former Florida State wide receiver Jesus “Bobo” Wilson made an impact on Sunday.

Wilson’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers came up on the short end of a 22-19 score against the Carolina Panthers, but Wilson made a big play in the second half. With the Buccaneers trailing 12-9 early in the third quarter, Wilson hauled in an 18-yard pass for his first career catch and his first career touchdown to give his team the lead.

It’s worth noting that the touchdown pass to Wilson came from Jameis Winston, who also happens to be his former college quarterback at FSU. During his time in Tallahassee, Wilson caught four touchdowns from Winston and eight total. Hopefully for Wilson, Sunday’s grab in the end zone won’t be his last.
