Although the start of any new season is exciting, there doesn’t seem to be one more anticipated than the start of football season.

Florida State fans know this as well as anyone and for good reason. With six 10-win seasons in seven years, five straight bowl major appearances, three total national championships and 15 ACC titles, the Seminoles are perennially one of the best programs in the sport.

Throughout the course of the season, there are many ways to keep up with Florida State. We here at The Daily Nole certainly pride ourselves with bringing fresh, unique contest on a daily basis and we are obviously not alone.

Noles247, an affiliate of CBS Sports, SB Nation’s Tomahawk Nation, Rivals’ Warchant, FanSided’s ChopChat and independent Nole Gameday all provide a variety on insight as far as websites go. As far as newspapers go, the Orlando Sentinel and Tallahassee Democrat each provide comprehensive coverage.

With more and more people cutting cable, people have become more creative in finding ways to watch the actual games. While two of FSU’s first three games this season are on network television, others rely on applications like Watch ESPN or listen on the FSU Gameday or CBS Interactive apps. Of course, it’s not uncommon for regional FSU clubs to hold watch parties.

When it comes to keeping up with news, the aforementioned sites will all suffice, but there are apps that will keep you from searching. The CBS Sports application can deliver FSU content from that publication straight to your smartphone.

The Bleacher Report app sends FSU content from across the sports spectrum to your smartphone. The Daily Nole has recently become a part of that. We pride ourselves in keeping you up on all that is going on with our daily rundowns.

For those who love the Seminoles, staying fresh on everything that happens can be a daunting task. The good news is that there are options.
