Lead Story

Florida State’s men’s and women’s basketball teams were both abroad for exhibition contests on Friday and each won in a big way.

The men’s team, led by Terance Mann’s 19 points, easily downed Jamaica Team Select, 117-65, in Jamaica. The freshmen impressed as Ikey Obiagu finished with seven blocks.

The women easily defeated the Sicily All-Stars in Italy on Friday, 122-36. Chatrice White led the Seminoles with 22 points.
